The Lake Norman Lightning Girls Softball Organization is a nonprofit, 501(3)(c) fast pitch softball team that relies on commitment fees, fundraising and sponsorship to pay for tournaments, equipment, uniforms, insurance, association fees, field maintenance and supplemental needs for our program. Our sponsorship program is designed to raise funds within the community to assist with the expenses of running an organization that promotes girls softball at the 10U, 12U, 14U and 16U levels. In exchange for your donation, you or your company will benefit by:
- Experiencing year round exposure for you or your company.
- Promoting you or your company as active members in the community.
- Having the opportunity to promote youth sports.
- Helping to promote good health and wellness among our youth.
- Providing the funds needed for our players to train and play softball as they work toward short and long term goals (local, state and national tournaments).
In addition to developing proficiency in fast pitch softball, the Lake Norman Lightning organization fosters an environment that emphasizes academic excellence, encourages community service, promotes maturity and discipline, and cultivates strong, confident young ladies.
Our goal is not only to develop our athletes into excellent softball players, but also to instill the values of hard work and dedication that will carry over into their adult lives.
